What is The Telomere Project?
The Telomere Project (TTP) funds research toward treatments and cures for telomere-related pulmonary fibrosis, a progressive and fatal lung disease that runs in families with inherited short telomeres.
Our Mission
Our work centers on two key efforts:
Funding research toward treatments and cures for telomere-related pulmonary fibrosis by partnering with leading labs at Columbia, Harvard / Boston Children's and Johns Hopkins.
Supporting patients and families affected by telomere-related pulmonary fibrosis, including hosting community events such as Thrive Tribe gatherings.
Our Story
The Telomere Project was founded by three brothers (Erik, Matt, and Michael) to address telomere syndromes, which have claimed the lives of several of their family members.
